Sorry.....microsoft.

Scytek 5100RS- two way paging alarm with remote start

I have a wire chart from another post for the 2004 BMW X3. Everything works for the alarm except the door locks. I have researched an extensive amount over the past few days but cannot come up with a solution.

The given wires to connect are power lock: blue/red and unlock: WHITE/ black.

These wires are supposed to have a negative trigger however upon connection to the alarm nothing happens. The only way I could get the door locks to function is to connect both alarm lock /unlock outputs with diodes to the central locking switch above the radio. This switch has a yellow/red wire that when triggered with a negative pulse, it locks and unlocks with each pulse….however this is not very good for security issues. If I have it that way it makes the alarm is armed but the doors are might be unlocked or if disarmed the doors might be locked. Help?

Testing the supposed door lock trigger wires…..with the key in the driver’s door to lock or unlock to see what is going on I show ground and when I lock the wire shows a small voltage change and the same with the unlock. I must be going crazy but cannot get these wires to trigger the locks.

Try picking up from the driver's door loom, also try testing with a test light, one side to ground other side to each colour, the colours RED / blue lock and white black unlock are correct for a German build E46 3 Series. They should be correct for yours.
