i just added a remote start add on by code alarm to a 2003 lexus gx470 and i can locate the factory keyless entry wires. every time the car is remote started i am no longer able to use the factory remote to lock and unlock the car. also sometimes the car goes off when i remote start the it. maybe it needs a factory alarm disarm. any help is appreciated.

The factory trans mitter will NOT work when remote started.... thats just the way it is my friend. Do a search on this topic, there is a lot of info.

Desribe "the car goes off" would ya! Factory security givin ya a headache? Are you triggering the key sence?

Factory security can be disarmed with keysence, or 1 unlock trigger.
