My Windstar has electric door lockd with key type enytry. No alarms any add-ons. Awhile back while driving down the road the door locks started locking and unlocking for no apparent reason. I stopped and checked then it quit back to normal. Then I would come back to my car at the end of the day and doors were unlocked (yes, I locked them). The lock, unlock thing now does it most of the time so I pulled the fuse and use them manually. Is this a problem with the GEM or what? Any and all help appreciated.

Hey Dan, pull the door panal off and check the switch connections Clean emp with a swab and some alcohol. Bang the switch and see if you can recreate the problem. You might try BOTH doors, just for fun.

While you have the panels off check all,of the connections at the motors.  If you purchased the rig used it might just have a keyless or something installed on it thats gone south!
