2008 mitsubishi lancer door locks

Any experience out there installing door lock actuators on a 2008 Mits Lancer that did not come with locks or keyless entry.

This vehicle has the newer cable linkage and I'm find it very difficult to intergrade actuators.

That was my thought........

Pulling the door panal, and getting a GOOD look at the lock latch, the part you use to do the locking from the inside. One trick I read about was removeing the cable itself. (cable and the tube of plastic and metal that covers the cable) slide the actual cable OUT of the "tube" Making sure BEFORE removing it from the door panal, that you mark on the cable tube where you would like to hook the actuator rod to. Cut a small section off of the tube (an inch and some change) Normally at the end of the cable there are points that connect to the latch, and the lock mechanisme @ the lock itself. allowing the cable to move freely on the inside of this "tube" nwhile the ends stay put!

What you attempting to do is remove some of the tube to expose the cable on the inside, to have a location to attach your actuator rod.
