I'm trying to install the intellistart 4 on my Dodge ram Cummings 2500
My problem is the accessory wire and the A/C heater wire do I need to use all 3 wires for the A/C (gray,Gray/Orange,ORANGE / Gray) and what wire do I connect them to at the ignition harness
the Gray wire was hooked up to the Green wire @ the Ig harness ( a previous install not done by me )BUT the green wire was melted so I think it was hooked up incorrectly ( when it was like this the A/C would not blow cold and that is what I want the AC to blow cold
I have disconected that ( the gray Intellistart 4 wire) and attached the Orange Acc wire to the green one that was melted
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

There was a recall on the accesory wire you speak  of. Dealers were re-wiring them for free. Test the wires with a meter to verify which are accesory then you'll know which ones have to be connected.

Probably because there was no high speed blower motor relay on these trucks-- see my other post under "possessed vehicles"
