I bought my car (99 civic) from a dealership and it has an Alpine alarm installed. I know nothing about alarms, so I was wondering if someone could helo me out. I found out how to get my alarm in and out of valet mode, and when I push the panic button, the alarm goes off. I don't know how to arm the alarm. I don't know the exact model number, but my remote has 2 buttons on it. Can someone please help?
Thanks

Have a look through the downloads section of this site. There are quite a few Alpine manuals here. Try and identify your particular system using the manuals. This might shed some light on your issues for you.
If you can put it in and out of valet mode it should allow you to arm and disarm as well.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

I just checked it out, and it's a SEC-8447A. There were no manuals on this site for this alarm.
