I just recently bought a vehicle that has a remote starter installed.  I couldn’t figure out why the keyless entry wasn’t hooked up and then I noticed that several wires were not hooked.

I want to hook up the keyless entry but I can’t find any literature on this product.  I know that I need relays for reverse polarity and I know how to wire it. I just don’t know what wires go to the door lock.

I did a search but couldn’t find anything. Any idea where I can find this or does anyone have this unit that can help me out?

hey man, i just did a quick google, the remote fobs look like astra key fobs, so heres a link to the pdf of the astra unit. Maybe this is the one. Go to the last page and see if the colours are identicle to the unit you have or the postition of wires. If so look for the lock/unlock and wire it like the link below (unit pinout shown and reverse polarity setup with relay is shown in there as well.)

I looked at the Astra's also and they are similar but the wire out puts are different.  I think I am going to have to test each pin with a volt meter and see.  Thanks for your help.

look on ur unit for 3 wires. Usually lock outputs are 3 wires. 2 negatives and one postive all 500mah outputs only used to power relays. If u have 3 the middle should have constant 12. the out pins one shows neg and other shows negative as well when u lock/unlock. If your unit has 6 wires for lock, the realys built onto board, but from what i know astra units dont offer onlbopard relays. If u have more questions pm or reply in forum. ill be glad to help.
