I have a 2007 ford explorer and the Viper 5900 alarm.  I got almost everything working with the alarm, except that i cant get it to actually lock and unlock the doors.  like it will still arm/disarm, and if a door is open the alarm will trigger, but cant seem to get it to physically lock /unlock the doors.  any help here??  Please guys i could really use this ASAP as my factory wiring is all exposed and i dont feel safe driving like that

ahead of time... thanks!

Currently installing the 5900 myself. The lock/unlock are blue and green in a seperate two wire harness. I'm sure you know that. Did you find the lock/unlock wires in the explorer? Are they + or - activated. The Viper wires can be easily reversed if connected incorrectly the first time.

The lock/unlock for the rig are in the drivers kick.  There is a very LARGE group of wires, with a smaller group sticking out from it.

In this group of wires are a grey / YELLOW for lock, and a PURPLE / grey for unlock. Tghey are negative trigger.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. Yea I know its the small harness. I found those wires and tested them with my miltimeter. I don't remember.   the readings but each fluctuated a few volts when the corresponding factory button was pressed. I have 1 amp diodes on the wires with the stripe facing the car factory wire. But nothing. Any other suggestions or help? Please I'm desperate lol

Factory lock/unlock wires are neg trigger. diode should be connected with band facing the rs lock/unlock outputs, NOT facing the fac lock/unlock wires
