508d and 504 problems on a Python 990. I installed this yesterday in my 1990 300zx. lol everything seems to work correctly minus the sensors. I installed 2- 504 shock sensors "Y" tied the red and black (seperately) then both green and blue to the blue lead (sensor 1) and green on sensor 2 so no diodes were nedded. I ran a 507 (tilt sensor) dioded with my (-) door trigger, I also put a diode on the door trigger. then ran a 508D proximity sensor to the blue mulitplexed trigger H1/7.

My problem is the proximity sensor doesn't always set off the alarm and I can't seem to adjust the zone range. also my shock sensors don't respond well it takes a door slam to set it off. please help me figure this out.

lol k I mis read the install manual i wired my 508 proximity sensor to the multiplexed trunk trigger.  I still can't figure out the adjustment for it or why my 504 dual shock sensors aren't very  sensitive. also is there a way to turn off the LED light while the system is unarmed its pretty annoying at night.

OK So let me rewrite this. Maybe people will better understand so I can get some help.

I'm having problems with the 508d and 2- 504 sensors on a Python 990. I installed this yesterday in my 1990 300zx. lol everything seems to work correctly minus the sensors. I installed 2- 504 shock sensors "Y" tied off one plug. combined the reds then combined the blacks.  then combined the green and blue wires to the blue lead (sensor 1) and combined the green and blue to the green lead (sensor 2) so no diodes were needed.

I ran the 508D proximity sensor to the blue mulitplexed trunk trigger H1/7 by combining the green and blue and used a chassis ground along with a constant 12v.

My problem is the proximity sensor doesn't always set off the alarm. The LEDs on the sensor light up but the alarm doesn't warm or set off so I can't even adjust the zone range. also my shock sensors don't respond well it takes a door slam to set it off. I have 1- 504 sensor double side taped to the floor under the dash and the other 504 sensor (wires extended) by the rear shock tower.

My alarm falses alot and and when I set the alarm then wait 15+ seconds then disarm it I get 3 chirps, the resonder remote displays that sensor 1, impact, and my 508 proximity all were set off. I have since unplugged the 508 prox and my remote and alarm still display the same thing.

Also Is there a way to stop the blinking blue LED while the system is unarmed? Its very annoying while driving at night.

please help me figure this out.

Thanks Jeremy

Well I figured everything out minus the prox sensor. Thanks to the people at www.caraudio.com. I did't use the remote start feature since my car is manual so I didn't have the 12v ignition source connected from that harness.
