I need some help with installing a remote starter for a 2004 PT Cruiser.  What would help great is the PT's wiring diagram, or just what wires are what so I can install this remote starter.  It is an Autopage RS-600 if that helps.

tedmond    thanks for the info.

One other thing.  How do I know if it needs a bypass module or not?  If it needs a key where do I get that?

if the key is grey, it needs a bypass. if the key is black, it does not

must have 2 keys to program any additional keys on your own. if you only have one and need a second i suggest a GOOD locksmith or the dealership

The PT Cruiser needs a bypass, it's a first generation Chrysler key...

Doorlocks are also multiplexed on this vehicle, if it's equipped with OEM alarm you may be considering a unit which does it all!

There's many types of bypasses which fit on this vehicle, you should really make some shopping to avoid the multiple relays & resistors. :)

Have fun!

If you fail on your first attempt, at least destroy all evidence you tried!

It is not equipped with the OEM alarm.  It does have the power windows and door locks on it.  The unit I have can do remote start and power door locks.

the key is grey, so is there an aftermarket bypass module that I should get?
