Hi,

I have a 96 Grand Am with power windows.  The power windows worked fine up until recently I can only control them with the driver's side buttons.  Any of the passenger buttons will not work, but if I roll up a window using my controls and a passenger presses the button, the window will stop moving.  My theory is maybe the window lock is stuck permanently on.  Is there any way to override it?  Thanks

Shaun

I was going to mention the window lock on the driver's door, until you mentioned it at the end of your post. So you're saying that you know about the lock, and it's in the off position....and you're still getting these problems? Just wanted to clarify:-)

Yes the window lock is in the off position - ive tried switching it back and forth many times - i dont know if it was turned on to lock and then somehow got stuck in that position - any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Shaun
