Hi everybody, I just bought a head unit for my 2003 Honda Civic and want to use the following installation kit on it.

https://images.cardomain.com/member_images/3/web/375000-375999/375029_8_full.jpg

If you look at the picture carefully you will notice how this kit allows him to keep the compartment underneath the Clarion DVD player.

If anyone out there knows where I can buy this, please let me know.

I've looked around, but the only thing I've been able to find is an in-dash installation kit that comes with pocket of it's own, like the one in this picture.

Perhaps you could simply write them an e-mail to ask them where it was purchased.
From the picture it does look OEM, or aftermarket made. But then again, it could very well have been made in house through a competant A/V retailer.
It would probably cost (retail) about $65.00 to make something like that for you. I would suggest that you drop by a good shop and get a quote.
Never hurts to ask, and based on their reply, you have a reference of go, or no go...

It can also be a custom installation where the installer retained the lower portion of the pocket ?

Sorry, but I don't think that it's a custom job. Here is a picture of the same thing, but in other people’s car.

I've tried asking them, but so far no replies.  Again, if anyone knows please let me know.

Thank you.

I believe the deck is mounted to the factory brackets. You probably don't need any kit. The deck has tapped holes in its sides for this purpose.

Thank's to everyone that tried to help me find what I was looking for.  Losboricua, you where right.  I left a message on seventh generation civic and they refered me to this install kit:

METRA dash kit, part number 99-7897.
