As a result of high traffic (over 2,500,000 hits per month), my site is beginning to put a strain on the current server, so I'll be moving it to a new dedicated server. There shouldn't be any interruption to service, but if the site is down, please check back often.

Once I begin the transfer, the forums will be locked on the old server. When you see them unlocked, you'll be on the new server and able to post again. This is the only way I can prevent messages from being lost in the move. I'll post a message shortly before doing so.

Within the next few minutes I'll be locking all forums on this server to prevent any post from getting lost during the transfer of this site. Once your browsers point to the new server, all forums will be unlocked and you'll be able to post again. At worst, it should take no more than 12 hours from the time of this post (CST) before the DNS info has propagated, in most areas it will take much less time. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Regarding the server transfer, the Databases and forum are only locked if you get to the old server.. If you find your way to the new server all is working and this is a post to confirm and test that fact.
