hey tbirdman74 lets not forget those who died on the 11th......thank you for your comment!
when you said “remember the heroes", i think a lot of people apply that to the rescue personnel. i, myself am a firefighter here in tampa, fl and lost a few friends on the day. however, everyone that died that day is a hero and as well as the ones who continue to give their all for this free country......it's people like you that will make a comment and reminds us what we have to live for in this country! the freedom we have is what makes this site what it is! keep up the great work....
i would just like to say think you to all of you that provide support our militry, fire rescue, law enforcement and ems......
thank you
Good Luck

I agree guys!

In Southern California, Capital freeway of the world and not-so-polite drivers, people tend to give me a little space & slack.  Wonder if it's because I have a decal on the back window of my truck that says "Got Freedom?"

I'm proud of my country and remember those who have fallen.

We will NEVER forget. EVER.

I agree,

The Barr family remembers & thanks all who are / were at the "frontline" so that our children may enjoy freedom.

This does not only apply to our 9/11/01 Heros, but to all those who fought since our country was founded;

The Revolutionary War

The War of 1812

The Spanish-American War

The Civil War

World War I

World War II

Korean War

Vietnam War

Gulf War I

Gulf War II

And all the conflicts in Gerenada, Somilia, Panama.

And all the unsung heros that keeps watch over our nation and their allies in between conflicts, their contribution have put other rogue nations on notice.

We also salute their husbands, wives, children, parents, siblings and their communities for their sacrafices.

God Bless America!!!

The Barr Family

I posted this in the original thread that sraasch found this on, but believe it should go with this one as well:

"Thanks draasch.  I too believe that every man woman and child that died on that day are heroes.  As well as the rescue personnel, the policemen, every man, woman and child that helped another to their feet, or got them a glass of water, and to this day everyone that has put forth some effort, no matter how big or small, these too are heroes.  You'll probably see that extra sig alot today."

I'd also like to add that I would love to see everyone start, and continue this time, flying the Stars and Bars.  Last time it kinda died out after a few months, and that kind of pissed me off.  I have flown Ole Glory since I was 8 years old when my Grandfather passed away.  He was a WWII vet and was on the beach in Normandy, and ever since that day, I feel it's my duty to show my pride in my country.  And I had an Uncle that never came back from 'Nam, so I have a double whammy reason.  I hope everyone else can find one too.  Thanks for letting me rant.
