I was just wondering if you worked for Pioneer, because if you don't you've got some explaining to do.  Remember when I posted that if you had the N2 service code you would bypass it?  This is what you said: "I can get the code, so the "if you could do it, you would" theory doesn't always apply. I have made a personal choice to support Pioneer this year and not bypass it."  Then in another post you said that only Pioneer service/repair personnel have the code and "if your paycheck doesn't say Pioneer, you don't have it"  So unless your paycheck says Pioneer, you also don't have it.  Of course I'm gonna feel stupid if you do work for Pioneer but until I hear any different, I will probably not listen to anything you have to say anymore.  Not that it matters to you or anybody else.  I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just don't like it when people talk out of their @ss.

Dude, I understand why you want clarification on this, but for you are fighting a loosing battle here. You are wrong for wanting a code that you obviously have full intention of abusing. If 12Volt_Rep does work for pioneer than I am gonna have a good laugh over this one and being that his name is what it is it would not surprise me to learrn that he may acually work for them. If he doesnt than fine he doesnt and he made 2 posts that contradict each other, and it happens from time to time. I know I have done it and as have most people who post on here. If you are going to stop reading what someone writes because of a one time contradiction then so be it but you are missing out. 12volt_rep, from what I have read, has a damn good grasp on this buisness and it would be a big mistake on your part to ignore any future postings of his. Personally I think you are just pissed that you cant get the code of this site, once again because you are wrong in wanting it, and have turned to looking for things to bitch about. Mabye I am way off base though

Cali, my paycheck does not say Pioneer on it. A few of my good friends do though. What my paycheck say is not important(beside the lack of zeros at the end), becaue the views and opinions and info I express in these forums are mine and not reflective of the company I work for. Just know that I have paid my dues(14 years) for this industry and still do on a daily basis.
If I really want to bypass the function it is simply a a few steps away for me. I have the software, and the phone number. I have an easier access to the process than most people. My question to you is this, where in the quotes you used did I say I had the "code"? I said "I can get the "code". And I still stand behind Pioneer's choice this year to not bypass this system. To the point I took out my TV Tuner and DVD Changer.
Cali, I don't care if you listen to anything I say on here or not going forward, but I don't talk out of my ass, there is nothing to gain from it. And in all fairness I guess if you read my post too quickly looking for a contradiction it would appear as if there was one, but re-read, there isn't. I am just tired of people saying they bypassed it, their friend bypassed it, their neighbors stepsister's cousin's friend bypassed it and getting everyone all worked up about it. It is simply not going to happen and I want people to quit be disillusioned.
