what is going to be the best amp to power 4- 6 by 8 pioneers in a ford focus?? I have a pioneer GM-100 now and I dont like it, the thing heats up real bad...I dont want to spend much over 200 bucks....

I hear Audiobahn's good stuff...(kidding).  Using 6x8's, your amp choice won't be too critical.  Just go cruise the local shops & listen to a few, find one you like.  Any amp's gonna heat up.  If you want a quality amp expect to pay about $1-2 per watt.  $200 will get you a 50x2 respectable amp, or more in a budget amp.  Your call.
