Hi guys! Anybody know of a good reliable rear detection system? - one that  gives a digital  readout of the distance to an object and an audible alert.  I have installed one but I found that  it does not react fast enough.

Ok. I bought one of those (the rf two sensor unit) and installed it into a friends car as a trial. He tells me it's useless as it goes off often for no apparent good reason. It also only has a range of about 5-6 feet and the reaction time between the systen and the driver, would not realisticly give a person enough time to react.
Thanks though. Any other suggestions?

try and find a Roestra unit. I can't remember the model number but we installed on on my wifes suburban and are happy with it, It does pick up variances in terrain though which sometimes give false reading but not very annoying to us.
