I need to wire the dei 528t to delay my HID kit from coming on till the bike is started.  (06 hayabusa)  It's an H7 bulb, so it's just a power and ground connection.  No high beam to mess with.  How do I wire this relay to do this?  It's a plug and play HID kit, so for the purposes of this thread just assume that all you have to do is wire the timed relay between the harness and the bulb.  I'm a newbie to this kind of stuff.  I looked at the relays topic under "basics" but this type of relay wasn't in there and I couldn't figure out how to translate what info was in there over to making this work.

This is kind of a side note, but how do y'all build your circuits in your replies?  I don't see anything that will let me do that.  Am I blind?

I don't have the bike nor the HID wiring but this is generally how it's done:

Black: Ground

Red: B+

BLACK/ White: Ignition

Yellow: Input from one of two headlight wires cut in half.

Orange: Output to cut wire to headlight.

Blue loop: CUT this loop

Adjust pot to required length.

When the ignition state will change from off to on, this will trigger the 528T.

To reply the side note, we generally draw the schematics in MS Paint or Corel or whatever then upload the jpeg using the "Image Upload" icon  (looks like a picture of a tree with a green up arrow) which shows only when you reply a post.

Please do not add images over 640 pixels wide.  Crop, sharpen, make pictures pop. Get the free Google Pack.

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.
