Since I bought my truck back in October 06, it already have the dei 530t window roll-up installed. Which was great because it would roll the windows up and down via aux4 and aux5. It would also roll up upon locking the doors. I reinstalled the alarm around december ago (kept adding things, and it was getting ugly). I didnt use the windows b/c of winter, but now when I try to lock, the windows go almost all the way up, but stop before fully closed. The unit is an OLD 871xp that does not have comfort closure and only up to 3.5sec lock output. I am thinking that over the past 2 years, my windows are slowing down, and where-as before the 3.5sec was enough, it no longer is. So basically, my question is, how can I do this so that i extend the lock pulse for around 5 or 6 seconds? Is there any type of timed relay that will stay energized for atleast 5 seconds after a single pulse???? Sorry for the long post.
Thanks
Kenny

The 530t doesn't have anything to do with the lock output. It's triggered by the ground-when-armed wire. The 530t works off resistance. There are dip switches on the side of the unit to change at which resistance it will stop. If the highest setting doesn't work, you could try greasing your window track, to make it easier on the window motor.
