I have a old motorcycle that has customized back brake and turn signals. All of the bulbs are double filamented w/ one filament used for running lights. Right now the turn signals use the brighter filament for the turns and the brakes use the filament for the brake. However, I would like to wire the bike so all three function as brake lights and the turn signals still function as turn signals. I have a diagram drawn up and I bought two 5 pin relays. The idea is that the default (non-energized) circuit would be the brake wire and when I hit the turn signal the turn signal wire would fire up the electromagnet and switch the circuit to the turn signal. The problem I ran into is that the way my bike was designed there are no wires designated to the left and right side respectively that have a constant flow of power running through them. So when I energize the electromagent with the pulsating wire it keeps switch between the brake and turn signal circuits which causes the bulb to light up with the brake circuit and brighten slightly when is switches to the turn signal. Sorry if I didnt explain that clearly. Hopefully you get the gist.

So basically I need a 5-pin timer delay relay so that when I turn on the turn signal the circuit switches over to the turn signal and holds for a couple of seconds so that the next pulse catches it and continues to hold it in the turn signal circuit position. I do not however need a delay on the brake circuit.

Is this possible? What relay do I need?

when you say no wires designated to right and left respectively! what do you mean? i'm thinking you won't need a timer for this but i could be wrong.

What I mean is that the wires entering and leaving the turn signal switch are pulsing (flashing) wires. So when I hook that up to the relay it causes the the arm to go back and forth between 87 and 87a. So when the wire pulses the arm switches to 87 and in between pulses the arm switches back to 87a. Because sometimes the brake and turn signal will be applied at the same time this wiring setup causes the bulb to burn constant for the brake and flash a little brighter every time the wire pulses.
What I need (for a regular 5-pin relay) is a left turn signal wire and a right turn signal wire that are constant (non-pulsing) power before it enters the turn signal flasher. That way I could cut into that wire and install the relay there. That would keep the arm switched to 87 as long as the turn signal is on allowing the bulb to flash correctly. However, the way the bike's wiring was designed there is only one constant power wire and one pulsing wire before it enters the turn signal switch and the switch determines which turn signal bulb to send the pulse to. If I were to cut into the single constant wire for both relays this would not work at all because it would cause one bulb to flash and the other to return to the regular running lights.
I hope that clears it up. Let me know if it doesnt and I will take another stab at it. I appreciate your help.

The letter A on the center relay connects to terminal 87 of the left relay.
