hey guys i just found this site and right away i put it in my favorites,great site and so much information.
this is what i need help with guys,i have a 1995 honda civic and just got some electric folding mirrors from a friend but i did not get the oem relay or switch to open and close the mirrors,i have a friend that did it without either one but he moved and i don't have his number,i do know that he did it with two relays and when he closes the ignition the mirrors would close and vice versa,how would i go about connecting the relays to do this?thanks

You can't do it with just relays, you need two timed relays such as a 528t and a 2pole momentary switch , or fed automatically via the ignition wire, or lock/unlock control or motor wires. You have to find the open and close motor wires on the mirrors; then each timer interrupts them, it's similar to a 5 wire locking system.
