ok i have a 98 dodge ram with a viper 791xv...my remote start use to work fine but now, for some reason when i go to start the truck  with the pager, the starter ingages but it does not crank up. When i put the key to the on position in the truck and press the pager, the remote start works fine.  Can someone please help fix this. I think its a relay or sumthin but im not sure how to replace it. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

you either aint getting no ignition out put to the harness or you have a gray key with a chip in it  try this.. reote start it with the pager....check to see if the lights on your dash cluster ( your gauges and all that) turn on....if they do not then there is a problem from the pink wire coming from the relay pack of the viper alarm that is the smaller black box of the alarm. check to see if there is power getting to your blue ignition wire from your igntion harness on your truck ... if the cluster lights up then it can be that you have a gray key and you have a chip in the key,,,but during that yewar there wasnt too many of those. or it can be a programming issue.
installers do it best. we got the magic hands!

They did not make a immobilizer key for 98 rams.
Therefore either:
One of your Red input fuses are blown
or
Your brain relay pack is fried/ not getting a - trigger from the brain.
Bascially your IGN or ACC wires are not getting powered up.
Or it is a 2000 Ram not 98 and has a gray key.
