So.......I'm installing this week some LED lights tucked into the lower rocker panels on my jeep to act as courtesy lights to light up the ground when you unlock and enter the vehicle. I'm thinking about taping into the footwell light however i'm just not sure as to how to wire in a relay for this, any help would be great. Thanks in advance.........working on a 2007 jeep commander

You shouldn't need a relay, LEDs are fairly low current.

You won't need relays for LEDs, Craig why do we keep repeating ourselves.

Because this is a new poster and there is no way existing or correct information can be found on the web - otherwise why would anyone regurg the existing correct answers out there. (It much more fun promulgating the incorrect info anyhow. To think that people worry about viruses and cyber terrorism... LOL! And if people think that "younger" people are "better educated" because of internet access...well, what can I possible write?)
Caveat - any opinions expressed above may be my insanity only.
