constructing a circuit

I don't know if this is possible to do with relays but here goes nothing. I need a circuit to be activated by 2 or 3 positive pulses , ( from lock motor) and then send a timed 10-15 second negative output to my key cylinder . The goal is to achieve window roll up from the factory key fob on a 2010 Nissan maxima. My guess was to use a pulse timer relay. But the tricky part is how to activate with more than 1 pulse so that it's not trying to put up windows every time I hit lock.

Don't worry you're on the right track, the vehicle body control unit shouldn't try and send up the windows if they are already up, also use a 5 pin relay ignition triggered so it only works when the car is standing still:- Ground (0v) to 85, ignition or ACC to 86, source to 30 and output from 87a.

The Pac TR-7 will do it. I haven't tried it myself, but its option 15 in the Install Manual Frank

why couldnt the door lock trigger close contacts on a 528t for say 10 seconds and if during that 10 second period you hit the lock button again, its signal would flow through activting a second 528t to do the windows?yuk

There are two other things to consider - you should have a way to STOP the windows remotely just in case something happens, and you should have an ignition interlock that prevents the circuit from triggering if the ignition is on. There is a company that offers a window module specifically for Nissans - you should be able to find it on Google.Kevin Pierson

I found the the piece you were talking about. They make abunch of modules for Nissan infinity mini and a few others. But that's basically for people who don't know what there doing. PAC tr 7 frank suggested is essentially the same thing for 1/4 the price. 50$ compared to 16$

You may want to compare the two again and then determine if the added features/safties are worth the extra cost. While they will both technically raise the windows from the OEM remote they are not "essentially the same thing".Kevin Pierson

Your product does not list any more features than using a tr7. Searched your site and read the install guide. So in the definition of essentially , they are the same.
