I think I may need a relay for what I want to do. I have a GPS tracking system in my work truck and I also have a Avital 3100LX installed. I have the option on connecting the 2 systems and the GPS will tell me when the alarm is going off via email or text. The GPS either needs to see a ground or 12 volts when the alarm is triggered. I can't use the siren wire because the system keeps reporting alarm trigger when I arm/disarm the alarm so I already tried that. Any ideas?

Your alarm doesn't have any AUX outputs to use, that would be triggered when the alarm goes off.
Using the siren, you would have to ignore the first email you get when you arm it, just note the time you armed it.

See of that is your system, the wiring information is there...
