Hi,

I remember seeing somewhere here (and now I can't find it) , a diagram that allows you to change the phase of a speaker remotely.

Anyone got it or redirect me to it.

Its gotta be easier than jumping out, swapping wires in the boot, remembering how it sounded, changing it back, thinking it is better, swapping it back being not too sure.changing phase of speakers -- posted image.

Thanks, Glynn

Get two relays. Label one "+" and the other "-". Tie pin 85 of both relays to +12V, and tie 86 of both relays to a wire you can access from where you need to listen to the system.

Now, tie the + out from the amp to pin 30 of the "+" relay. Tie the - out from the amp to pin 30 of the "-" relay. Then, tie pin 87a of the "+" relay AND pin 87 of the "-" relay to the + terminal of your speaker. Finally, tie pin 87 of the "+" relay AND pin 87a of the "-" relay to your speaker's - terminal.

When the relays are off, the speaker will be in phase with the amp output. When you tie the wire described in the first paragraph to ground, the relays will reverse the phase of the speaker.

Note that you would need to repeat this entire process for any additional speakers. Each speaker needs its own two-relay system.
