I'm looking to make this a circuit that strobes some LED's.  The output should be similar to:

The more LED's in can handle the better.  I was thinking of using something like a "wig-wag" circuit where it just clicks back and forth, but then I don't know how I'd get the multiple flash.  Does anyone know of a circuit that may do something like this?  I know it's a lot to ask, I was just kind of curious as to what can do this.

Thanks in advance

Brandon

Modify a honda flasher relay to control the rate with a 100K ohm potentiometer. Here is a link that will show you how to modify the relay and then just use the output to power your led's.

That looks like it may work, but the only thing I'm thinking is how can I get that setup to do a multi flash before switching.

ie.  AAAA BBBB AAAA BBBB .... where AAAA only lasts like 1/2 a second or so?  Maybe add a second one in there??  Where can I buy some of these Honda relays?
