I have made a website that has pictures and all the paper work on the install. It is putting in a keyless entry kit in a 2002 malibu. The malibu has automatic locks but my sister wants the remote now. Well it is a single wire resistor door lock system and i've never touched one of those before. The kit I bought had an add on unit that I need to chage the polarity or some stuff like that.  Please help me out. This is a xmas gift! The kit is a omega REC43 with the add on DLR-U dual relay.  Please help!!!!

Theres the link to the site with pics and more description. Thank you in advance!

ok

Lock requires a (-)Negative trigger and Unlock requires a (-)Negative trigger thru a 1,500 ohm resistor.  Must use relays if the unit is not equipped with on-board door lock relays. Must also close doors to lock with a single pulse.

i got that off a site, so pretty simple, you need to hook up one relay for the lock, (pretty easy, put ground at pin 87,, put lock wire on 86, positive 12v on 85, and output on 30) and the other wire you just put on a 1500 ohm resistor to the same wire... (you can put the same relay on there if you want, just put the 1500 resister on the wrie that comes off of pin 30,

on that relay modual, it will be easier, plug in the input wire, the wire with a fuse, connect to ground, and then there should be two pin 30 wires (don't know what color they'd be) and use those, one of them (unlock) of course you would have to splice in the resistor, hope i helped, good luck
