12 volt LED blink w/ alarm

i now have three 12 volt leds and am trying to figure out ho to make them blink using the alarm LED wire. only problem is it's the neg that changes and i dont know how to make a relay setup that changes grounds. plz help.

Won't work. Most alarm led outputs are 2 volts. You can however go buy 3 2V leds from rat shack, wire them in series, connect the + and - to the led output, and they will blink the way the alarm will.

hea man, anybody who tells someone that something is not possible is wrong. what you are trying to do is very possible, all you have to do it connect the positive side of the led to a constant 12volts and then the negative side of the led to the negative side output from the alarms led output. i did this before and had problems with it because i thought that you had to use a relay, well you do not need the relay in this case. i hooked up five leds to my alarm and no problems ever occured. let me know if this works for you or you have any other questions.
