I have an ignition system for my 240sx that has a built in staging rev limiter.  I need to find out a way to turn on that limiter by pressing in the clutch then pressing a momentary switch that fully activeates the system untill I release the clutch.    So I press clutch, then press and release push button--system on.  system stays on till clutch is released.  Thank you for all the help.  I am learning alot  of info that I will use on alot of things.

You should use the little button on top of the clutch for the cruise control/HICAS (if equipped) which gives out a negative trigger.   https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page5.asp  Second diagram there explains how to do a constant output out of a momentary. You have to hook a relay onto the clutch switch though to convert the polarity to positive (as your clutch switch will activate the fused 12VDC) and then use your momentary switch as the negative pulse. (The additional relay will have 12VDC at 85 and 30, clutch switch output at 86, and then your fused 12VDC comes out of terminal 87) That should do it.
