I'm wondering how to wire up a simulated alarm led...
It should be flashing when the relay is closed...
I'm thinking it has to be connected to both the constant 12v of the battery and the accesory 12v... but can't figure it out.

they sell LED's that flash on there own.....they prolly no more than a dollar.....then all u need is a 1k ohm resistor and some wire and boom.

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

A lot of ignition systems will rest at ground.  So, if you hook up the LEDs positive side to 12vdc and the negative side to the ignition wire it may flash when you shut the car off.  You may also need a resistor, depending on the LED.
