My siren is getting 2.46 volts when remote start (this means I hear the siren but it is quiet)  It was suggested to try a relay in the siren output to try to get rid of this.  Does anyone know how I would wire this relay?  I want the siren to still go off when an alarm is activated but I don't want to hear the siren when remote started.

The relay may fix the problem, however unless there is something really wired incorrectly you shouldn't get any voltage on the siren wire when remote starting. If you try the relay hook terminal #85 to ground. Terminal #86 to the siren output of the alarm. Terminal #30 to a fused 12 volt + battery source. Terminal #87 to the siren's positive input.

I don't understand why it is doing this.  I have a post in the alarm section that several people have tried to help with a ground problem.  But I've determined this is not the case.  There is only one output wire comming from the system to the red wire of the siren.  Then the black wire from the siren is connected to the negative terminal of the battery.  So I am going to try a relay this week unless I figure something else.
