constant ground switch reversal

using a relay or multiple relays, how can I make a switch that shows constant ground when on break ground when on and show ground when off instead????

The simple way would be to wire your current switch that shows ground when on to pin 86 of a relay.  Tie pin 85 to 12vdc.  Whenever the switch is on the relay will be energized.

You can then use the contacts of the relay for your new signal (Tie pin 30 to ground, Pin 87A is your new output)

What are you trying to do exactly?  There may be a better way then this.

Well I just installed a Scytek RS in my 1994 Suzuki Sidekick, and everything works beyond my greatest expectations.  But I wanted to add a neutral sensor so that the car wont start if it is in gear.  What I want to do is connnect the E-brake to the input of the switch and the output of the switch tie it to the hood pin input.  Well seeing as how the hood pin input shows ground output when the switch is open (hood open) and the E-brake shows ground when the brake is up.  So I need to flip it so that I can tie it in with the hood pin so my car doesnt kill some one.
