hello everybody

Im wiring a relay because I my Girlfriend bought me push start from Ignited performance and she wanted to attach it in my car.
I already know the strater wire of my honda civic 96 its a Black wire with white strip Correct?
now my only problem is the relay.
is the photo below is a correct diagram?

have info given by the product manufacturer (igniteperformance.com)

its totally deffernt from the above diagram which one will I follow?
87 to push start
30 to ground
86 to starter wire
85 to 12 volts
Im totally confuse

Use this diagram that I have: push button starter configuration This way you will also retain the full function of the key cylinder as well as using the push button starter while isolating the starter wire from the switch.
BTW: THis diagram is for systems that require a (-) trigger to activate the starter. If you have a (+) trigger system change pin 86 to GROUND wire and 85 will be an IGN switched by the push button.

thanks velocity but how do I know I have negative or positive? my ride is a honDA CIVIC 96 VTEC.

what will happen if I wire the relay wrong? will it damage my ecu? or my ignition?

Just this mornin I install the push start from Ignited (IgnitedPerformance.com) I followed all the instruction from Igninted website but sad to say it blew my 30amp fuse, good thing its the fuse not my car.

anyway I followed xscash instruction and it works :) thanks

86 to button 85 to ground 87 to starter wire 30 to positive.

Looks like you may have hooked one of the wires from the switch to ground.

The only ground you deal with goes to 85 on the relay.

Here is an updated diagram I modified for you.
