Im trying to figure out how to use 1 output from my alarm to trigger however many relays it takes to power my linear actuator. On that same note, Id also like to use the same output from my alarm to retract the linear actuator. is this even possible?

Yup... One of our installers does this all the time. I'll get the schems from him.

Please be patient. I am pretty sure I can get the schems within the next day or so.

LOL... I just thought about something... is this for your motorized amp rack you asked about earlier? Looks like you gave in to the push and forget feature ^-^ Most actuators running on 12v are very slow. That is why we came up with the push and forget feature.

it sure is for my actuator for my amp rack. I never brought up the push and forget idea. I think someone else did that. I dont mind holding the button. I could always set my trigger from my alarm to run for 30 seconds or so if i get tired of it. Ill have to get back to you about understanding the drawing. Havent had a good chance to check it out yet. Ive been super busy with other things on the car. Thanks again!

Hey Guys,

This is actually my first post. Don't mean to be a nuisance but would it be possible to PM me that schematic as well. Im looking to do the same thing, use one button(trigger)  to move my actuator out and in. Thanks

Basically what I gathered from all of the diagrams and drawings that were shown to me is that it isnt worth all of the effort. There are way too many relays and diodes and other crap invovled. I figured out a way to free up an extra output from my alarm so I then had 2 outputs. That made everything muhc much easier because you only need 2 relays.

LOL... works for me. but I do have one question... diodes? there were no diodes in our diagram
