Not sure if this is the right forum but, I want to turn my semi auto aerial to a full auto arial using a simple timer cicuit with switching relay, the manual switch crosses over the +/- wires depending wether it goes up or down, can any one suggest a diagram for this circuit and parts that might be required?

How long up and how long down?

Here is what I came up with so far. Push button control.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply, but doh! I forgot to mention I would like it to be activated the radio via single wire feed +12v  ie: power on, goes up (3 secs) and power off, goes down (3 secs)

I know this can be acheived by getting a new full auto aerial, but I would like to keep the origininal one that was fitted by the factory.

Use 47 uF instead of the 470 on the 2 transistors for 3 seconds.
