say i wanted to wire up a motorized device that went up and down...
so like if i wanted the device to go up when i hit the brake..the device would raise up.
& when i let go of the brake it would automatically retract?
how would i wire this up?
Thanks.

Does your motor have limit switches built into it?    What are you trying to raise and lower?

**some added information...
i would need a wiring diagram for 1 switch...when i hit the switch it has a positive output and the actuator would go up...when i released the switch it will lower back down.
the actuators that i got have two terminals...depending on whether you want to go up or down...you just switch the terminals for posative and negative.

oh and one more thing...how much different would the wiring be if the actuators didnt have built in limit switches?
thanks!

Without limit switches in the actuator, you would have to mount some to stop the motor when it gets all of the way down.  Without them the motor would continue to run even after the aparatus was all the way down or all the way up.

At rest the left relay is the one with 12 Volts.

alright...so how do i go about grounding the actuator? it has two terminals..
both terminals accept 12v or Ground...depending on which side has the 12v determines whether it goes up or down.

You have 1 actuator but it has 2 wires on it.   The left To Motor wire goes to one wire of the actuator.  And the right To Motor wire goes to the other wire of the actuator.
