I find that there are alot of people asking for alarm and remote starter wiring diagrams. Could we not start a new section in the DIAGRAM section for people who want to add wiring diagrams for certain model alarms and remote starters ? Maybe even add car audio players, DVD's, accessories, etc to this list for reference.

What do you think of this ?

Hi Jeff, sounds like a good idea. How would you like to see it formatted or structured? Let me know what you have in mind.

I was thinking of Acrobat reader, jpg. scans of the diagrams or text . Whatever someone has that would help out other people with certain wiring diagram. What do you think for a format ?

Hi Jeff, I can write a searchable downloads section for Acrobat Reader files, ZIP files, etc. All files including .jpg's, .gif's, text,  etc. can be converted to .pdf format if necessary and organized by category. In order to maintain it and keep out unwanted material, spam, etc., I can create another email address for them to be sent to or create another forum for members to post them or both. Once they are received or posted, it's just a matter of converting them, uploading, and adding them to the respective category.

If that sounds okay, list the categories you'd like to start with. Even though I haven't had time to finish the other sections I've started, I'll put this one at the top of my list and I'll start writing it sometime this week or this weekend.

Seems like the largest amount of " wanted diagram " are from  DEI . I've been collecting diagrams for the past month or so and I have about 50 + diagrams from several manufacturer's and 98 % of them are .pdf files. Let's start with the DEI line if we can and branch out from there as time goes on. Your pretty busy right now with catch up so this wouldn't need to be a high priority item in my eyes, just something that would be nice for other members to be able to access on their own.
