Hello all,
I'm looking for an instruction to DIY installing a Perrot CK3300 to my Nissan Maxima '01. I used to install stereo for my older cars in the pass; however, I was discouraged my others due to the fact that this newer Maxima will have much more complicated stereo system. If anyone has done this or know how to do this, please show me the way.
Thank you.

This one may be a bit tricky for you. If you can successfully get the radio out, you can simply use one of two "plug and play" harnesses made by parrot solutions Part # BWNIS-1 is for the non amplified radio. part # BWHBB-NI is for the amplified radio(usually Bose or Rockford). Where I think it gets tricky is the getting the radio out part. Be Very Careful and use the towel because the radio cage iss very sharp and it WILL scratch the bleep out of your dash! Good luck

Step# 01

Insert (2) hook tools into the air vents below bottom center of vanes.
Hook into the slots with both tools and pull out at the same time which
releases the air vent assembly.

Step# 02

Open ashtray and pull out insert.
Remove the Phillips screw behind where ashtray insert was.

Step# 03

Use Mercedes dash tool between the shifter panel cover and bezel, under rubber trim.
Insert tool at the first gear indicator light and turn to be able to lift
straight up on bezel that surrounds shifter indicator cover.

Step# 04

Once you have released the clip. Turn on the ignition, DO NOT START,
put shifter into drive. Use your hands to pull up on the bezel, releasing (3) other
clips. Tilt up the bezel and work out from under the radio and climate control
assembly. Remove the (4) exposed screws, (2) behind where ashtray was,
and (2) above radio. Put shop towel on console and remove radio assembly
 and set on towel.

Thank you, jeffwhiteman, for the instruction on how to dis-assembly the radio system. Now, my next question is on how to work with the wiring of the stereo system. Is there a good/best way to clip/slice/soldier the wires together with the bluetooth's wires instead of spending money to buy the installation kit adapter?
Again, thanks for any help at all.

this link should help. use the dropdown menu to choose your vehicle specs. If you have the amplified system, you should probably spend the money for the harness

It seems that having the plug-and-play is the easiest and recommended way to do the job.
Alright then, thank you all for your inputs. I guess I'm ready to get my hand dirty now.
Chao.
