2002 dodge ram high beam wires

i am trying to wire a wig wag to a 2002 dodge ram 1500. can someone tell me what wires are the high beam to the headlights. i tryied to use a test light to find but would not work and i dont know why

Did you connect the test light across the battery to see if the test light worked?

As far as I know the headlights should have ground on them at all times, and the positive voltage is turned on or off when the lights are turned on or off.  This may not be the case though.  They may be supplied a positive voltage all of the time and ground may be switched on or off with the switch.  When you used the test light the first time, did you try clamping the ground clip to the positive terminal of the battery, and then probe the light wires with the probe?
