1997 silverado and 2002 tahoe wiring

hi i have a 1997 chevy silverado ext cab i had put a 2005 vortech engine in it and recently put a 2002 vortech engine in it. I changed engines because i did not like the whole electronic throttle cable thing so i changed it to an engine that had a cable. I changed wiring harness and brain and for some reason when i turn the key everything turns on but my starter won't engage,when i start it off the starter it only has a cold start.why? I need whole wiring diagram for 1997 and 2002 chevy truck
