My 2002 Elantra Gt is equipped with a vehicle speed sensor, im pretty sure it works off a pulse emulator or something along that line. Is there anyway to bypass it or dissable it, possibly by a switch near the driver?

I've got the same problem with my 99 GMC Sonoma. Is there a way to bypass or jump the speed limiter? Or do i need to buy a Jet chip or something similar?? It's not a lot of fun topping out at 97 MPH.
