This is the instructions on how to tear down a new Mini Cooper 2009

  • Remove driver knee panel ( 3 T30 torx)
  • Remove torx that holds radio trim on each side and pop outward exposing both sides of the radio
  • Pop off dash trim and remove 4 screws holding it in
  • Remove the dash trim pieces around the driver steering wheel and above passenger glove box.
  • After removing these pieces you will see the torx that hold the speedo
  • Remove fourway button to remove bolt underneath
  • Remove vent center of dash to unveil 2 torx releaseing the speedo
  • Pull Speedo cover out to show 4 torx that will remove entire speedo cluster
  • Remove radio
  • Parts you will need
  • 40-EU-10 and 40-EU-20 Metra antenna adapters
  • Female cigarette (brown is ground and red with green is acc)
  • Product to be installed

NEVER EVER TOUCH THE RIBBON HARNESS VERY DELICATE

Just a litle help no responsible for any problems or mess ups was just a hard car so I thought id shout it out

Yeah, these are fun to take apart!  I had the pleasure a few weeks back.  Very solid cars.
