I am installing a nav into a 2005 mercedes clk and need the color and location of the brake wire and speed sensor wire vss?

Pick up the brake wire at the rear light and trace it forwards, its probably BLACK/ red, VSS is either CAN or position 1 on the ESP CPU Had you thought of doing this yourself it's so obvious re the brake light. My data says all M/Benz after 02 to be CAN, either at ESP or gearbox modules green and GREEN / WHITE twisted pair.

got the brake before but where is the ESP CPU located that you are referring to? also the gearbox location? thanks

Since you didn't tell us the brake light wire's colour, you are obviously a LAM and I would suggest you take it to a competent installer who knows where the ESP and gearbox processors are. Good lord I've already given you the CAN colours, do you want me to fly over and hold your hand?
