2008 Expedition.

Light bar has right and left rear-facing lamps which could be turn signals.

I wanted to tap into the trailer wiring harness turn signal wires.

They are energized by two small relays in the fuse box in front of the radiator top.

But the brake also energizes both right and left relays, which would make the yellow lamps illuminate with the brakes.

Is there a wire from the brake I can cut?

Is there a wiring diagram I can view on line?

Thank you.

This is a bit back to front but there are kits available to turn these lights on US vehicles into Euro spec which would be just what you're after. You woud have to go on the net to find one of these firms who carry out the work, try entering American Car Dealers in the United Kingdom. They officially sell Escalades, Corvettes, Vipers PT Crisers, Voyagers, Jeeps and Sebrings, all with UK lights.

Or take feeds from your indicator stalk, cut them after they join to the hazard flasher  and run directly to the light units. Or  take from the front looms from the indicator lights and sap over with the ambers. At the rear is the indicator and brake light one feed? If not just reroute the indicator feed to the amber light, if it is run a separate feed from the front.
