I got a new car, so that means I need to install another remote car starter. I've seen wiring diagrams for the 2008 model and I know that the models are the same, but I've heard from the Toyota techs that there are some differences in the wiring from 2008 to 2009. If someone can provide me with an actual 2009 Toyota Highlander wiring diagram, that would be fantastic.

08 and 09 are the same. Use factory arm/disarm wires to lock and unlock car. They will test off the drivers door key cylinder when you lock and unlock the car door. Single pulse will unlock drivers door, second pulse will unlock the rest. If the car has a factory alarm, You need to provide a steady ground to the keysense wire to disarm alarm without unlocking the doors, as long as its a regular key and not push-to-start. Most Transponder bypass kits will have a wire to supply the keysense wire with a ground.
