I have a customer they want to be able to turn the rear view camera on without going in to reverse . Dont know why but the do anybody know a wire that can have a toggle or rocker switch wired in to do this . Thanks

I forgot its a E250 ford van with factory backup cam. in the rear view mirror

check the blue/white wire leading to the mirror...should be reverse.  you need a spdt switch. cut the reverse wire.  connect the common (should be center terminal) to the mirror side of the wire.  connect the vehicle side to one of the outer terminals.  connect +12v to the other outer terminal.  the mirror/monitor should have switched power also at the connector.
