I have a 2004 eclipse, and the radio just stopped working, so was going to change out the radio, but there are two plugs in the back of the radio, if any one can help id appreciate it.  really dont want to have to cut wiring harness but will if only choice.

You can use a Metra 70-7001 wiring harness.
I believe the other harness (8 pin) is for the remote display unit and steering wheel controls.
If you have an amplified system, you may need the Metra 70-7002 amp integration harness.
This information is provided only as a reference.
All circuits should be verified with a digital multi-meter prior to making any connections.
