i am working an a 2003 bmw 745. putting in the beltronics sti-r. i just need to know where i can find an accesory wire. all the cigarette lighters are constant. thx.

At the fuse relay center is the best place. do not go poking wires with your meter or test light on these cars. BMW major system operate via multi-colored optical cables that look very similar to standard wires.

fuse box is accessed thru glove box. good luck

should i use a relay and go directly to the battery, or is it ok just to tap in the fuse box

So I tested all the fuses and all of them are constant any ideas???

Anything with a purple primary colour is an ACC, look at ignition switch loom*, body control module or fusebox. Also in trunk area.
* If it's a plastic push key, trace the wiring down to the first module, there should be a purple ACC there.
