Hello,
I'm looking for the interior light switch on a 2006 pontiac vibe. The reason that I'm looking is that there are supposed to be two dome-light wires there that i can tap and finally finish my alarm wiring project, one is RED / yellow and requires a 775 relay and the other is red and black, but i can't seem to find them.
Bulldogsecurity says:
DOMELIGHT SUPERVISION      RED / BLACK (-) or RED / YELLOW (-), Requires Part # 775 Relay      @ INTERIOR LIGHT SWITCH
the12volt just says it triggers with an unlock from the unlock wire, but i have a base model and none of this wiring was in my car.
Here Are some pics:

as you can see, all i have here are 2 greens, a black, a WHITE/ red, and a WHITE/ black. There seems to be an error in the wiring diagram? or am I mistaken?

This connector on the left has some red wires, but they're all connected to the mirror controls:

This info from AudioVox :
Domelight Super      RED / WHITE  (-)      AT THEFT MODULE BEHIND RIGHT SIDE
OF DASH NEXT TO GLOVEBOX - Pin 3
Soldering is fun!

One reason for your problem is that the switch panel you showed controls the door mirrors and the instrument panel gauge illumination, naught to do with dome lights.

I have a base model, there is no theft module in my car. So that rules that out too :/

Right, Someone told me that mine did have that control though. Even my manual.(LOL they don't even make a true base-model manual) I was hoping that I was wrong. I can't seem to find this light anywhere else, either.

I haven't done a Vibe yet, but I have done plenty of corolla's which I believe is the same car...Corolla, matrix and vibe. RED / Yellow in the drivers running board can be used as a All door trigger and dome supervision. I think there are 2 or 3 RED / yellows, so test.

thanks, but whan you say running board, do you mean the bunch of wires along the side, running from the kick panel? there's one in there haven't seen one anywhere else. I'll look around and see if there are more and let you know.

Yeah, Thats what I ment. The bundle or 2 of wires that run from the drivers kick panel to the rear of the car.

This thread is too long. If this is a Corolla and the dome light has a time delay off but shuts down immediately when you LOCK the doors then the switched neg (i.e. neg when doors are open, open circuit when doors are locked) is your all door trigger and dome light control isn't required.
This will will run from the fuse box up an "A" pillar to the light. Job done.
